More than 50 participants took part in the Open Days event on March 11–12, 2025. Organized by the SUSNANO project in collaboration with NanoAlb, the initiative provided a unique opportunity for students and young researchers to explore cutting-edge facilities and ongoing projects in Nanostructured Building Materials, Sensors and Biosensors, Molecular Biotechnology, Nanotoxicity & Biomarkers of Effect, Environmental Research, etc.
Participants were guided through different scientific laboratories, engaging in discussions on national and European research initiatives and potential future collaborations. The event fostered scientific exchange, strengthened synergies between research infrastructures, and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and innovation in nanoscience.
Among the participants were master’s students in nanotechnology from Western Balkan University and students from several high schools in Tirana.
